Law Professor Lists Top 10 Law School Survival Skills

Friday November 14, 2008

Part of my job here at About.com is to point you to places I think will help you prepare for and succeed in law school. One of the best pieces of advice on law school I've ever read is this recently published list of Top 10 Law School Survival Skills by Lois Schwartz, an Adjunct Professor at Hastings College of the Law, Santa Clara University, and Golden Gate.

To give you a small taste, her first bare bones tip is "Be prepared." Sounds logical, right?

To me, this is by far the best thing you can do to make life in law school easier. Yes, it falls into the "easier said than done" category, but do push yourself to be prepared each and every day. In doing so, you'll not only get more from law school, you'll also enjoy it more by cutting out the stress of worrying whether you're prepared for class and exams.

Continue reading Schwartz's excellent advice at Law.com, and be sure to come back and let me know what you think!
