I don't mean to be harsh, but this year's U.S. News and World Report rankings look pretty darn similar to last year's rankings, especially at the top.
Once again, Yale Law was crowned the best law school in the land, and the rest of the top 14 stayed the same as well -- with one exception. The T14 welcomed a new school this year with the University of Texas - Austin tied for the #14 spot.
According to U.S. News, other movers and shakers include the University of Maryland School of Law from 48th last year to 42nd this year and the University of California--Davis School of Law from 28th to 23rd. Be sure to check out the specialty rankings as well to find out which schools offer the best programs in areas such as trial advocacy, health law, environmental law, and more.
What do you think of the rankings?
