Boston College Law School recently announced the Francis X. Bellotti Loan Repayment and Forgiveness Program; the new initiative aims to help recent graduates working in public service positions and will be funded through a $3 million endowment.
BC Law grads in eligible positions who earn less than $65,000 a year may participate in the program. According to the National Law Journal:
B.C. Law's loan forgiveness program offers loans of $500 to $7,000 that can be used to pay down participants' law school loans. The loans can be cancelled, and effectively turned into grants, if participants meet all program conditions.
Kudos to BC Law for helping out its grads!
