Law school clinics around the country have been under attack lately, and the most recent is Tulane's Environmental Law Clinic.
The Louisiana Chemical Association has issued a memo urging its members and government agencies to cut funding to the clinic; Sen. Robert Adley, R-Benton, has introduced a bill that would restrict funding to all school law clinics in the state.
According to NOLA.com, "Adley's bill would forbid clinics to file suit against any government agency, seek monetary damages for a client or raise state constitutional challenges in court."
