North Carolina Business Court Moves to Campbell Law

From , Former About.com GuideApril 21, 2009

Starting this fall, the Raleigh division of the North Carolina Business Court, which handles complex business litigation, will move to the Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, making the school one of just a few to have working courts inside its walls.

“It gives our students the invaluable opportunity to utilize an on-site learning laboratory in which to observe attorneys in action as they argue their cases. It also provides greater visibility and interaction between the North Carolina State Bar and Campbell Law School,” said Campbell Law School Dean Melissa Essary.

This sounds like a great opportunity especially for those interested in pursuing business law to get a close-up look at the legal profession. Will Campbell Law offer special courses, seminars, etc., for its students that involve the Business Court? Stay tuned!
