Memorial for Professor Charles Whitebread
This Thursday, November 13, the University of Southern California Gould School of Law will hold a memorial for one of the most beloved law school professors in its history, Charles Whitebread. The 65-year-old criminal law professor passed away in September after battling lung cancer.
Although Whitebread taught at USC for 25 years, law students all over the country knew him well from his memorable, engaging Bar/Bri bar review lectures. If you're reading this and can't place him by name, think criminal law and procedure, funny, and bowtie. I am truly sorry for future bar takers that they won't have a Whitebread live performance to spice up an otherwise rather dull summer of bar prep.
"Remembering Charlie: A Champagne Reception and Tribute to honor the late Charles Whitebread," will be held Thursday from 12-2:30 p.m. in the headquarters of Town & Gown on the University Park Campus.
